Ascended Staff of Spiders

This is a dark wooden staff coated in webs that are not sticky and permanently affixed to the staff. At the top of a staff is a glowing purple spider made of crystal that whistles magically so that only Drow can hear.

The staff has 12 charges, which are used to fuel the spells within it. With the staff in hand, you can use your action to cast one of the following spells from the staff:  Web (2 charge, spell save DC15), Conjure Animals to summon a swarm of spiders (3 charges), Giant Insect but only on spiders (4 charges), or Conjure Fey to call forth a Phase Spider (6 charges). No components are required.

The staff regains 1d8 + 4 expended charges each day at dusk. If you expend the staff’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, a crystal spider crawls out of the crystal spider and bite the user dealing 1d10+2 poison damage and is unusable for a day.
