This instrument (in this case a harp) of carved Hazel wood can be used by a bard or druid to enter a state of Awen, or holy union and power. While in this state the owner chants or sings poetically with incredible meaning and beauty.
While channeling this spirit, the owner expands his awareness and power to his companions. They have double advantage (3d20) and add all of his attacks and saves as a bonus to their own. All enemies in range (150') are distracted by the song and have disadvantage. The instrument only inspires the Awen when the party is facing 2:1 odds or higher and/or is facing a foe 3 levels above the party median level. The power lasts for 1+1/lvl (minimum 3 total/maximum 10 total) turns of the bard/druid. After the Awen leaves, the owner is struck with exhaustion level 5 and prone for the time of a long rest. The Awen cannot be reawakened for at least 1 week. No magic or skill will decrease these times, but the party can attempt to carry the owner to a safer location under a penalty of being encumbered.
The owner is also granted Expertise in the instrument.
