Wounding Strikes
When you hit a creature with this weapon, you can wound the target. At the start of each of the wounded creature's turns, it takes 1d8 thunder damage for each wound it has. The creature can make a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of its turn, ending the effect of all wounds on itself on a success.
Alternatively, a creature can use its action to make a DC 22 Wisdom (Medicine) check on the wounded creature, ending the effect of all wounds on it on a success.
Hit points lost to this weapon's damage can’t be regained by regeneration, magic, or any other means except a short or long rest.
This sword is linked to the Elemental Plane of Air. While holding the sword, you can speak its command word to cast Storm of Vengeance (save DC 20) from the sword, without requiring concentration. While you are wielding the weapon, you are immune to the effects of the spell.
