Armor (shield), very rare

This Dwarven made wok was once an unbreakable shield made of adamantine. While it predominantly serves as a vessel for cooking up monsters, it has not lost its effectiveness in combat.

This wok made from adamantine can be used as a shield and carried in one hand.

Because of the insulating nature of the adamantine, you can wield this shield no matter how hot it gets. The shield has the following abilities, which both trigger its “Get Cooking”:

• When you succeed on a saving throw against an attack, spell, or effect that deals fire damage, you instead take no damage.

• If an object you are holding or wearing is subject to an effect that heats it (such as placing it over a fire, or a magical effect like the Heat Metal spell), the shield conducts the heat into itself and away from that object.

𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴. The shield burns hot for 1 minute and gains a powerful special reaction attack, dealing 2d6 fire damage on a hit in additional to the regular improvised weapon damage.

Shields require the Utilize action to Don or Doff. You gain the Armor Class benefit of a Shield only if you have training with it.
