Weapon (gatling gun), legendary

Tier 5

A recent innovation in Deciri’s ever-evolving art of war, Ashmaker is a massive, rotating-barrel firearm capable of spewing a storm of lead at unimaginable speed. Its deafening roar and blinding muzzle flashes can turn a line of charging soldiers into nothing but smoke and cinders in moments. Few have faced its fury and lived, and its silhouette alone is enough to break the courage of even veteran fighters.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

Suppressive Barrage: The Ashmaker has 1 charge. As an action, you can expend this charge to unleash a roaring hail of bullets, sweeping the battlefield in a withering arc of fire. Each creature within a 30-foot cone must make a Dexterity saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier. On a failed save, a creature takes 12d10 piercing damage. On a successful save, it takes half as much damage. This attack consumes 30 bullets.

You can’t use Suppressive Barrage again while the weapon has no charges. You can restore 1 expended charge by spending an action or bonus action to cool the gun, venting heat from its barrels and preparing it for another barrage.

Infamous for its rate of fire, the Gatling Gun rotates and fires six or more barrels in succession. This weapon is cumbersome, easily recognizable, and utterly terrifying.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Automatic. When you make an attack with this weapon, you can choose to make two attacks instead. These attacks are always made with Disadvantage, regardless of circumstance. You can’t replace these attacks. If this weapon has the Ammunition property, these attacks use twice the normal amount of ammunition.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Piercing, Damage, Combat, Ammunition, Heavy, Two-Handed, Reload, Firearm, Automatic
