Arm Guard

This armor protects your arm or arms, adding 1 to your Armor Class while still allowing you to use both hands.  It may come in the form of a pair of heavy bracers, large gauntlets, heavy armor that covers one arm, or something else.  You must be proficient with shields to benefit from an arm guard.  You can only benefit from it while wearing no or light armor, and you cannot also benefit from the use of another shield.
