Also called "the fruit of the knowledge of food and evil". This apple grows in the Garden of Eden, which is located in the Upper Planes. This golden apple grants the one who eats it vast knowledge, but curses them with an inability to interact with the divine.
A creature that consumes the apple can cast the following spells at will without material components:
1st level: Detect Evil and Good, Detect Magic, Detect Poison and Disease, Identify
2nd level: Find Traps, Locate Animals and Plants, Locate Object
4th level: Locate Creature
5th level: Legend Lore
6th level: Find the Path
A creature that eats this fruit can no longer be perceived by any kind of deity. You are permanently under the effects of the Nondetection spell, and cannot otherwise be perceived in any way by Aberrations, Celestials, Fey, or Fiends. You are also unable to cast Cleric or Warlock spells.
