Armor (plate), very rare (requires attunement by a Small, Medium or Large giant or humanoid)

This set of plate mail was crafted by fire giants and is inscribed with runes. Only a few fire giants have the level of skill required to make armor like this, so it is hard to come by. A fire giant who crafts a set of armor like this usually does so as a gift to an ally of smaller stature, although a rare few are made to be sold.

You have a +1 bonus to AC while wearing this armor.

While attuned to this item, you can speak, read and write Giant and are resistant to fire damage.

This armor has 4 charges and regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. You can spend 1 charge as an action to double your size in all dimensions, also causing your weight to be multiplied by eight. This growth increases your size by one category-- from Medium to Large, for example. If there isn't enough room for you to double your size, you attain the maximum possible size in the space available. If your size is Small, it changes to Large instead of Medium for the duration. Any equipment you are carrying grows with you. While this effect lasts, your Strength score increases by 4, up to a maximum of 24, and your weapon attacks deal 1d6 extra damage. This effect requires no concentration and lasts for 1 minute, even if you are incapacitated during that time.

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
