The Arcane Explosive is essentially a planet killer.
It weighs 100 pounds, and takes an action to be armed. After that, a 5 minute timer begins.
After 30 seconds, it starts to glow a violent red.
After 60 seconds, it begins quaking.
After 90 seconds, the sky darkens.
After 120 seconds, a severe lightning storm begins.
After 150 seconds, the wind picks up, reaching 30 mph.
After 180 seconds, the wind picks up further, reaching 60 mph, and the Arcane Explosive begins to emit steam.
After 210 seconds, the wind reaches 100 mph, or hurricane forces.
After 240 seconds, the ground starts to shake.
After 270 seconds, the it begins passing from day to night incredibly quickly.
After 300 seconds, it detonates.
What happens next can only be described as "Doom."
A massive crater covers half the globe, the orbit's off, and horrible earthquakes destroy any remnants of humanity. There is very few survivors, and even the ones who do survive are doomed to slow, painful death as the planet's odd shape, off orbit, and exposed core causes it to die.
The mantle will cool, and the planet will become inhospitable.
Even if some plucky people manage to stay alive, they will be baked as the planets plummets into its sun, due to its precious orbit being compromised.
The bomb can be defused by anyone, it just takes 30 seconds.
