Wondrous Item, unknown rarity

This vial contains radiant oil that glows like molten sunlight. It never runs dry, (as long as the user takes at least 10 minutes worshiping the deity that granted them the vial) replenishing at dawn with three charges.

Properties

  • Blessing of the Oil. As an action, you may anoint a willing creature, consuming 1 charge. For 1 hour, the target gains the effects of Bless (no concentration required).

  • Weapon Consecration. As a bonus action, you may apply the oil to a weapon, consuming 1 charge. For 10 minutes, the weapon becomes magical (if it is not already) and deals an extra 2d4 radiant damage on a hit. Against fiends or undead, the radiant damage increases to 2d6.

  • Radiant Smite. As an action, you can fling the oil in a radiant burst at a creature within 30 feet, consuming 1 charge. The target must succeed on a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw or take 4d8 radiant damage (half on success). Undead and fiends make this saving throw at disadvantage.

  • Sanctified Aura. If you anoint a creature reduced to 0 hit points, they immediately regain 1 hit point instead of just being stabilized. This does not consume a charge.

Flavor

When the oil is poured out, it shimmers like liquid light, searing the wicked but strengthening the faithful. When hurled at an enemy, the radiant oil ignites in a burst of holy fire, burning away corruption and darkness.
