Weapon (crossbow, heavy), legendary (requires attunement by a Ranger, Fighter, or Rogue)

This magic item counts as a heavy crossbow, in regards to attacks and damage.

You have a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

These wristbands bind with the skin and muscle of the wearer, making it near impossible to remove.

You never run out of ammunition; the Launchers draw from your own body to create and launch bolts.

On hit, the target takes an additional 1d6 Psychic damage, on top of weapon damage.

With the Mastery skill ability Push, you may also Pull a creature up to one size larger 10 feet closer to you. Or, move yourself 10 feet directly closer to the target, on a  successful hit.

Cursed.

While cursed, you can't break your attunement to the launchers, and if you sleep, you suffer nightmares of being torn apart by monsters, and wake screaming, though this doesn't prevent you from sleeping.  You can't be immune to the frightened condition, and while you are frightened, you have advantage on attacks you make with these launchers, instead of disadvantage.

Created by a cult of hunters centuries ago, who specialized in hunting creatures from the Far Realm and beyond. Due to the nature of the creatures they hunted, sleeping became a vulnerability. Using every natural, magic and immoral way possible, they refused to rest. Always hunting. This near crazed devotion infused into their weaponry. It make their bolt launchers infuse into their skin, never to be disarmed or removed.

Proficiency with a Heavy Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
