Automap

A relatively common item that automatically maps an area and remembers areas already mapped. Many of these come with a fair amount of information already, even brand new, which includes maps of continents and the world.

This appears as a large binder tome, opening one allows someone to view maps either as paper maps or as a projected illusion which can be manipulated through hand movements or voice commands. A user can zoom in, zoom out, as well as many other commands.
