Amulet of Searing Essence

A bronze amulet with a chain looping around the middle finger and another around the wrist, securing it to the wearer's palm. This ancient amulet allows those with fire built into their being to channel its fierceness during battle.

 Twice per long rest, it allows the caster to deal an additional d4 fire damage on a hit by syphoning the essence from the bearer of the amulet. The caster takes the same amount of damage rolled, whether the attack hits or not. The amulet requires a bonus action to be activated
