Wondrous Item (glaive, greatsword, longsword, rapier, scimitar, or shortsword), rare (requires attunement)

A black leather glove with sharp claws and yōkai runes engraved, emitting a faint purple aura. It was used by Amanojaku to channel his power over the yōkai.

Benefit:

  • Oni Power: +1 to melee attack damage (the glove's claws).
  • Oni Absorption: 1/day, when reducing a yōkai to 0 HP with a melee attack, the wearer can absorb its essence, gaining 2d6 temporary HP (lasts 1 hour).
  • Risk: Each time Oni Absorption is used, the wearer must make a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by the next yōkai they see (1 minute), reflecting the corruption of Oni power.
  • Oni Dominio: As an action, the wearer can attempt to dominate up to 2 lesser yōkai within 30 feet. Roll 1d20 + your Charisma modifier (minimum +0); if the result exceeds the DC (10 + the yōkai's CR), the yōkai becomes charmed by you for 1 minute or until it takes damage (requires concentration). A charmed yōkai obeys simple commands (such as attacking an enemy or defending a position) but will not commit suicide. This ability is usable once per day and recharges at dawn.
  • Risk Expansion: After using Oni Dominion, you must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or suffer "Oni Corruption": take 1d6 psychic damage from the absorbed malice.

The glove falls from Amanojaku's hand when he dies. Kitsune warns: "That glove... holds the power of the Oni, but also their corruption. Use it carefully." Forged in the shadowed forges of Yomi, where the malice of Chinushi-sama lingers, this gauntlet was once a vessel for Onio-sama's wrath, absorbing the essence of fallen yōkai to fuel endless vengeance. Its claws, etched with runes that whisper forgotten curses, pulse with a living hunger, drawing the wearer closer to the abyss of demonic fury. Legends speak of warriors who wielded it, only to become vessels for the Oni's will, their souls twisted into eternal servants of chaos. In Seigai's fractured history, it symbolizes the broken pacts, a relic that promises dominion but demands the soul's surrender.

Notes: Bonus: Temporary Hit Points
