Weapon (flail), common

The Greatflail is a peasant’s threshing tool pressed into service for the battlefield. Unlike a knight’s compact military Flail, this version is essentially a long staff with swinging metal attached, originally used to separate grain from husks and quite dangerous. Its reach allows farmers or impressed militia to batter armored foes or strike past shields, though its size is unwieldy in close quarters. Easy to wield in need, true mastery of the Peasant Greatflail requires martial weapon training to unlock its potential.

This weapon is a two-handed version of the military flail usable as a simple weapon. It deals 2d4 bludgeoning damage on a hit.

Proficiency with a Flail allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.

Notes: Weapon Property: Heavy, Weapon Property: Reach, Damage: Bludgeoning, Weapon Property: Two-Handed, Damage, Combat, Sap
