Staff, legendary (requires attunement by a Wizard with at least 25 INT and without lawful nor good alingment.)

This Staff was once found in the highest tower of an ainchent ruin, alongside a jurnal etched in the stone walls and a library of rotten, decomposed books. Aethur was once a wizard and it is said that he was the most powerful and wise who ever lived. But all his might was not enough and as the end of a long life dawned upon him he made a gamble to preserve his soul and attempted to try and bound his life to his staff. It is unclear if he was successful, but some of those holding the staff reportet seeing a dark figure in the corner of their eyes and often feeled as if they where watched upon or that someone was standing right behind them.

You can cast two spells at once as long as they use the same level of spell slot and their base spell slots are not higher than level 4 and you use no spell slot greater than 5 for them. As long as one of them hits (for Sorching ray: all rays have to hit) both of them succeed. You also recive 1D4-2 (minimum zero) psychic damage.

Once each 48 hours you gain one charge (to a maximum of 2) with witch you can cast

    a level 1 spell with the effect taking place as if you used a level 9 spell slot (1 charge)

    a level 2 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) with one as if you used a level 8 spell slot and the other as normal (1 charge)

    a level 3 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) with one as if you used a level 8 spell slot and the other as normal (1 charge)

    a level 4 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) with one as if you used a level 8 spell slot and the other as normal (1 charge)

    a level 5 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) with one as if you used a level 8 spell slot and the other as normal (1 charge)

    a level 6 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) with one as if you used a level 8 spell slot and the other as normal (1 charge)

    a level 7 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) with one as if you used a level 8 spell slot and the other as normal (1 charge)

    a level 8 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) (1 charge)

    a level 9 spell with the effect taking place as if you cast two (with both hitting or failing) (2 charges)

At the end of each day while this item is attuned get damaged for 1D4/2 (rounded down) psycic damage
