Forged in the shadow of extinction, this amulet was created by siphoning the life essence from one dragon of every known type—chromatic, metallic, gem, and even the elusive deep and planar breeds. Each soul was bound into a shard of soulstone, then fused into a single, pulsing relic that defies death itself.
Curse
The amulet is cursed with the wrath of the dragons whose lives were stolen. Each time you use Soulflare or Dominate Monster, roll a d20. On a 1, one of the bound dragon souls breaks free and manifests as a spectral dragon (CR 20) that seeks to destroy you and reclaim its essence.
Notes: Immortality’s Embrace: While attuned to the amulet, you cease aging and cannot die of old age. You are immune to disease and poison, and any effect that would instantly kill you (such as Power Word Kill) instead reduces you to 1 hit point. Draconic Resilience: You gain resistance to all damage types associated with dragons: acid, cold, fire, lightning, poison, psychic, radiant, necrotic, thunder, and force. Voice of the Wyrms: You can speak, read, and understand Draconic. Once per long rest, you may cast Dominate Monster on a dragon without expending a spell slot. The target has disadvantage on the saving throw. Soulflare: Once per long rest, you may unleash the fury of the bound dragons. As an action, choose up to three damage types.
