Arcium Plate

Arcium Plate is a set of armor forged out of the naturally dark metal Arcium, it is usually worn by magic users because it's magical properties. When the wearer is not in combat, it seems to turn into flowing black robes that have orange-colored runic symbols spread across it. When the wearer gets into a conflict, the robes almost appear to attach to the wearer and plates of the same color as the robes seem to materialize on the outside of the robes, around the head, vital organs, upper and lower arms and legs, and shoulders, and the symbols on the robes start glowing bright orange due to the chaotic magical atmosphere they sense around them. Even though plates are now present, the wearer doesn't feel any extra weight put on their body, and the robes present seem to now have properties like chain mail, and don't seem to be able to rip due to mundane damage, Ex. Tearing, Getting Caught, Etc.

The breastplate and shoulder protectors of this armor are made of leather that has been stiffened by being boiled in oil. The rest of the armor is made of softer and more flexible materials.
