All or Nothing Coin

This appears to be a common gold coin. While you are able to flip the coin (you have a hand free, and the coin is accessible), you can choose to flip the coin instead of rolling a d20. If you land on Heads, it is a critical success (Natural 20). If you hand on tails, it is a critical fail (Natural 1). The coin can be used in this way once per short rest.
