Soulheart Cuirass of the Last Breath

Forged from gilded soulsteel and inlaid with shards of obsidian glass from the Shadowfell, this cuirass hums with the quiet pulse of unspent life. The core embedded in its heart glows with a deep purple energy—a piece of the a Dragon's soul held in stasis.

• While attuned, the wearer gains resistance to necrotic damage and their necromancy spells gain a +1 bonus to spell save DC, their Armor Class also gains a bonus equal to their intelligence modifier

• Once per long rest, the wearer may cast Raise Dead or Resurrection without material components. When using this feature, the resurrected creature temporarily gains spectral draconic wings for 1 minute, granting a fly speed equal to their movement speed.

Last Breath of Silver Fire (One-Time Use):
As a final act of sacrifice, the wearer may initiate a ritual lasting one action. The ritual requires:

• The cuirass

• the soulheart with the remains or spiritual essence of an adult (or older) dragon

• A candle lit from dragonfire

Upon completion:

• The dragon is returned to life as if by True Resurrection.

• The wearer dies, their soul wholly consumed in the act.

• The core of the cuirass detaches and embeds itself in the dragon’s chest like a second heart, pulsing with light.

• The dragon retains memories of the wearer as if they were their own
