This ornate, lacquered bomb is etched with curling violet patterns and capped with a shadow-tassel stopper. Inside swirls a smoky black liquid that seems to move of its own will, forming shapes like clawed hands or coiling serpents against the glass.

When thrown within a range of 60 feet, the bomb erupts in a 20-foot radius sphere of Shadow-fire, dealing 4d6 fire damage and 4d6 necrotic damage to all creatures and objects within its area of effect. A successful DC 17 Dexterity saving throw halves the damage. Additionally, any flammable objects caught in the blast are set ablaze, continuing to burn for 1d6 rounds unless extinguished.
