Wondrous Item, rare
This necklace bears a small silver ball with swirling patters on it. When activated the ball will open like an aperture and reveal the blue-green magical gem inside.
Once per long rest on a turn when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher you may use this amulet as a bonus action. The amulet will empower the spell and upcast it to one level higher, with the original spell slot still being used. So if a 3rd level fireball is cast, a 3rd level spell slot would be used but a 4th level upcasted fireball would come out.
