A finely wrought silver amulet shaped like a snowflake. Its surface never warms, and when touched it sends a tingling cold through your skin, like the edge of numbness. In moonlight, its facets scatter pale light like shards of ice.
Powers
-
Cold Resistance: While attuned, you gain resistance to cold damage.
-
Icy Veins: Once per short rest, you can activate the amulet as a bonus action. For 1 minute, you cannot be frightened or charmed, and your emotions feel dulled, as though wrapped in frost.
-
Frostbite Pulse: Once per long rest, you can unleash a 10-foot burst of icy energy. Creatures of your choice within range must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 3d6 cold damage and have their speed reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
Drawback
-
Emotional Numbness: Extended attunement slowly alters you. Each week, roll a DC 12 Charisma save. On a failure, you develop subtle emotional detachment—difficulty expressing warmth, joy, or empathy. Remove Curse can break this, but some traces may linger.
-
Fey creatures (especially Summer Court) can sense the amulet immediately and may view you as aligned with the Winter Court.
