Hands Free Casting. While wearing these gauntlets, you may cast spells with somatic components without needing to touch your target. Any spell you cast that would normally require touch has its range extended to 30 feet.
Flame-forged Arsenal. The gauntlets grant you access to fire magic regardless of whether you know it. You can use the gauntlets to cast the following spells, expending your own spell slots as normal, unless noted otherwise:
Control Flames (at will)
Burning Hands (1st level)
Scorching Ray (2nd level)
Fireball (3rd level) — 1/day without using a slot
Scaling Power. As your character grows, so too do the gauntlets. At higher levels, they unlock additional powers:
Level 5. Fireball may be cast using your spell slots.
Level 9. You gain Wall of Fire (1/day).
Level 13. You gain Immolation (Xanathar’s Guide) (1/day).
Level 17. You may cast Meteor Swarm (1/week).
Blazing Channel. When you cast a fire spell using these gauntlets, you may add your Intelligence modifier as bonus fire damage to one damage roll of the spell.
Cinder’s Shield. You gain resistance to fire damage while wearing the gauntlets.
Curse (Optional, for Haunted Mansion-style play)
The gauntlets grow hungrier with power. Each time you use their highest-level ability (e.g. Meteor Swarm), roll a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the gauntlets sear your arms for 4d6 fire damage, and your voice echoes like crackling fire until your next long rest, alerting enemies within 60 feet whenever you cast a spell.
