This pointed hat is elaborately decorated with stars, planets, asteroids, and gaseous nebula. The hat cannot become soiled or damaged by non-magical means.
This wizard's hat is rumored to have once belonged to Alhamazad the Wise, constructed after the culmination of centuries studying the movement of celestial bodies, and eventually learning to subtly manipulate them.
Spellcasting Focus. While attuned to and holding (but not wearing) this magical hat, you can use it as a Spellcasting Focus for your Wizard spells.
Spellcasting. This item contains the following spells, which are wizard spells for you: Melf's Minute Meteors, Wall of Light, Crown of Stars, and Meteor Swarm. This item functions as a spellbook, in that spells currently inscribed on it may be cast from it or transcribed into another spellbook, however the current spells inscribed on it cannot be removed and new spells cannot be added.
Spell Inscriptions. The spells inscribed on this hat are encoded in Celestial, with the arcane symbols hidden amongst the other decorations on the hat. A Wizard must either speak Celestial or have access to the spell Comprehend Languages or similar, in order to cast the spells inscribed on this item from it, or to transcribe any of the spells from this item into another spellbook.
Incognito. To the untrained eye, this appears as an ordinary, albeit fancy, wizard's hat. However, as it also functions as a spellbook, a wizard wearing this hat but deprived of their usual spellbook, may still have access to the spells inscribed on the hat.
