Avatosh’s Arcane Carriage of Many Hospitality

This grand, gaudy carriage is painted in deep purples and dark pinks, with gilt trim and a single frosted-glass window that never quite reveals what lies within. Though it appears ordinary on the outside, its true wonder lies beyond the rear door, which may only be opened with a special Arcane Key bound to the attuned wielder.

Exterior

• The carriage may be pulled by beasts, constructs, or magically glides if commanded (speed 30 ft.).
  
  
• The frosted-glass window shows vague shapes, but no clear details of the interior.
  
  
• The back door remains locked unless opened with the Arcane Key.
  
  

Interior (Extradimensional Space)

Upon unlocking and entering, the carriage reveals a magically expansive interior. When the Arcane Key holder first attunes to the carriage, they may choose a default décor style (elegant manor, rustic cabin, arcane lounge, royal suite, etc.). At dawn, they may alter minor furnishings to suit their needs.

The carriage contains:

• Sleeping Quarters: Comfortable beds for up to 9 Medium or Small creatures. Each bed is magically clean and replenishes fresh linens daily.
  
  
• Arcane Cold Box: A miniature enchanted fridge that produces meals and drinks. Once per long rest, the box can replicate the effects of create food and water (but with flavorful, restaurant-quality results instead of bland fare).
  
  
• Booths of Leisure: Three to four cozy dining booths, styled like a tavern or restaurant corner, perfect for eating, planning, or playing games.
  
  
• Miniature Library: A shelf containing a rotating selection of common and uncommon books, treatises, and novels. The DM may allow useful lore to occasionally appear.
  
  
• Hot Tub of Rejuvenation: A magically heated pool for up to six creatures. Spending 1 hour soaking restores 1 level of exhaustion (once per creature per long rest).
  
  

Magical Features

• Sanctuary of Hospitality. While inside the carriage, creatures gain advantage on saving throws against effects that would cause exhaustion from travel, weather, or lack of sleep.
  
  
• Arcane Privacy. The carriage is warded as if under the effects of nondetection, preventing casual scrying of those inside.
  
  
• Portable Comfort. The interior always maintains a pleasant temperature, and clean water and air circulate regardless of the exterior environment.
  
  

Limitations

• The interior may hold no more than 12 Medium creatures at once.
  
  
• If the carriage is destroyed on the Material Plane, the interior collapses safely, expelling its contents. The Arcane Key holder may perform a 7-day ritual costing 5,000 gp in rare components to restore it.
