These fragile rune-etched tokens are made of sun-baked clay and inscribed with protective glyphs from a forgotten celestial dialect.
A full pouch contains 1d4 + 1 tokens, and the pouch crumbles into dust once all tokens are spent. As a bonus action, you may crush a token in your hand. When you do, a shimmering field of magical force envelops you, granting a +2 bonus to your AC for 1 minute.
Multiple instances of Aegis Token do not stack. If a creature crushes another token while already benefiting from one, the duration is refreshed to 1 minute, but the bonus remains +2 and does not increase.
