when you attack with this weapon, you actually spear an enemy with a magically created spear afterwhich the spear teleports to your hands. this weapon does not need ammo to shoot it. you also have advantage when trying to catch fish in a pond or river while using this weapon. you can also use this weapon as a paddle. if you tie a rope to the weapon, you can spear something to get across a river or chasm from where you are currently but while doing so, you cannot use it as a weapon.
