A silver-chained bracelet with a charm depicting two faces, one in white and smiling and the other in black and frowning, this charm allows its wielder to create, at will, an illusory form that alters their appearance. This illusion may take on the appearance of any creature size Large or smaller, but it does not alter the wielder’s actual, physical form.
The charm holds up to (3) charges. A charge is used for every illusion created. A charge is not expended if the wielder drops the illusory form and returns to their normal form. All expended charges are regained after a long rest. The forms last indefinitely as long as there are no external forces acting upon them. If an illusory form is not dropped, it can be retained and maintained through the long rest while still allowing for replenishment of the (3) charges that the charm can contain.
To create a convincing illusory form, the wielder must have encountered the creature (or creatures if attempting to merge aspects of multiple beings) that they are trying to appear as. If taking on a form of a familiar creature(s), other creatures trying to recognize that the wielder is utilizing an illusory form must succeed on a DC 17 Perception check. If taking on a form of an unfamiliar creature(s), other creatures trying to recognize that the wielder is utilizing an illusory form must succeed on a DC 14 Perception check.
