Wondrous Item, rare

This intricately designed silver pocket watch is one of the many wondrous inventions of tinkerer Argot Miggins-Baxter. The clockface contains dozens of tiny interlocking gears, however it does not tell the time. The hands sporadically tick in a counter-clockwise direction seemingly without pattern. A creature with keen hearing can hear the faint ticking and whirring noises coming from within.

If you roll a d20 and dislike the result you may treat it as if you had rolled a 10 instead. You may decide before or after finding out if the roll is a success. This feature can be used for any d20 roll, including attack rolls, saving throws, ability checks, initiative and death saving throws. Once used, this property can’t be used again until the next dawn.

This feature can only be used if the watch is in your hand or pocket, and does not function in the Feywild.
