Astral Spectacles

These simple black spectacles are filled with lenses that seem to embody the solar system. From the outside, they are frankly confusing, but on the inside, they are inspiring.

• These spectacles are overlaid with the resonant frequency of the astral plane. As a result, the wearer gains the following benefits after attuning the spectacles.
  1. Stare into the Astral: You can view the Astral Plane by putting on the lenses and speaking the code word Starsight. This experience is incredibly taxing and as such, you can only do this for up to one hour per day. You are immune to damage in the Astral Plane while simply a viewer, but you are subject to damage on the current plane while viewing the astral. While viewing the astral plane you all attacks and skill checks in the current plant are made at disadvantage.
  2. Celestial Understanding: You understand the movements of the stars and celestial bodies and their relationship to each other. As a result, you become an expert at investigation because if one can see the order in the planets they can see the disorder in the world.
  3. Beyond Sight: While wearing these lenses you can choose to change the lenses to a beautiful silver appearance, with the command word Reveal. As a result until your next long rest or you switch the lenses to see the Astral Plane. When your Beyond Sight is active, you can see all invisible objects, through all illusions and into the Ethereal Plane. The glasses also see any shapechanger in its original form unless changed by True Polymorph.
