Adrenochrome

When drunk, perform a DC 20 Constitution check. On success, adrenochrome provides the equivalent of a Long Rest and two hit dice-worth of hp recovery. On a fail, the liquid gives a Short Rest instead, but the imbiber can use a hit die to recover hp or one spell slot.

If injected and succeeding on a DC 12 Intelligence (Medicine) check, adrenochrome gives relief like a Long Rest with full hp recovery. On a failed roll, no hp is restored.
