A twisting and ornate prosthetic that has multiple scaly protrusions of differing metals across the limb. To attune to this item, you must attach it to the end of your missing arm, at which point the prosthetic magically forms an elegant copy of the appendage it’s replacing. This prosthetic is a fully capable part of your body and can’t be removed against your will as long as you’re attuned to it.
The prosthetic has 2 special scales for each type of metallic dragon on it for a total of 10 and regrows 1d6 + 4 missing scales of the users choice daily at dawn. While attached, the prosthetic provides these benefits:
Spells. While attached, you can sacrifice scales to cast one of the spells on the following table from it, using your spell save DC. The table indicates the scales you must expend to cast the spell.
| Spell | Scale Cost |
|---|---|
| Alter Self | 1 of any scale |
| Arcane Eye | 2 brass and 2 copper scales |
| Bless | 1 gold scale |
| Chromatic Orb | 1 of any scale (damage type based on dragon scale) |
| Fear | 1 brass, 1 copper and 1 silver scale |
| Fly | 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze scale |
| Lesser Restoration | 1 copper and 1 silver scale |
| Summon Dragon | 1 of each scale type |
Rending Metal. While attached the prosthetic allows your Unarmed Strikes to deal 1d6 Slashing damage instead of the usual Bludgeoning damage, and you gain a +1 bonus to the attack and damage rolls of your Unarmed Strikes.
Notes: Bonus: Unarmed Attacks, Damage: Unarmed Attacks, creature missing a hand, or arm
