Tomes of the forest

These books were once owned by a popular druid/ranger that was known for their studies of both animals and creatures. This cultivated in him creating two magical tomes that would help him. Over the years the books have been passed owner to owner with more information being added or removed.

One of the books is used to research, and study animals and creatures and when needed can become a quiver with the animals/creatures information becoming an arrow for each, each arrow attack of the creature is given advantage but that animals information disappears from the tomes pages. If a page is damaged or removed, the book after a long rest will restore all pages with newer blank pages while keeping the information on the torn out page but that page looses its magical properties and becomes a regular piece of paper.

The other book works as a journal that attunes to the owners mind and is able to their thoughts and  put that information down onto its pages, with the pages being able to be replenished if torn out after a long rest.
