This amulet is in the shape of scorpion's stinger fashioned onto a chain that resizes to fit the wearer.
While wearing this amulet, you can use your action to cast polymorph on yourself, transforming into a Giant Scorpion (no concentration required). While you are in the form of the giant scorpion, you retain your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores. The amulet can't be used this way again until the next dawn.
While wearing this amulet, if you cast polymorph on yourself, you can channel the spell through the amulet to either replicate its effects or to retain your Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores while following all the other rules of the polymorph spell.
This item's abilities scale with the user's level. When used to transform into a Giant Scorpion at level 6 and lower, you have the sense Tremorsense instead of the sense Blindsight. Additionally, at level 4 and lower, only the first Sting attack you make after a long rest is able to deal poison damage as normal. You may make additional Sting attacks but must finish a long rest before being able to deal the poison damage again. As you level up, you regain your poison faster and gain more control of you poisonous Sting attacks. At level 5, the first 2 Sting attacks deal poison damage. At level 6, you are able to choose which 2 Sting attacks deal poison damage. At level 7, this restriction is removed.
