Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian is a powerful staff passed down through the line of the Guardians of Tirisfal up until and including Medivh, the last Guardian. The staff has been long destroyed, its components lost to great evils. If reassembled though, Atiesh can be returned to its former power. The staff was born from the "seed of hate" and grants its wielder "power unending". It was passed down by each Guardian of Tirisfal to its successor.
Atiesh has the magical properties of a staff of power (see the Dungeon Master's Guide) in addition to the following properties.
Improved Magical Damage and Healing. While attuned to Atiesh, the staff's +2 modifier to spell damage also applies to any effect that restores health.
Improved Critical Chance. Spell attacks are considered critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
Teleport to Karazhan. You can expend 1 of the staff's charges to cast teleport to the Tower of Karazhan. If you are playing in a non-Azeroth setting, the teleport takes the travelers to the Tower of Atiesh's original owner, to the Dungeon Master's discretion (usually a high-level dungeon filled with magic items and deadly traps and monsters).
Improved Attack Form. While in another form, be it from the Druid's Wild Shape feature or the spell polymorph or a similar effect, the staff's +2 modifier to spell damage carries over to attacks and damage done by attacks in that form.
Notes: Damage: Force, Bonus: Saving Throws, Bonus: Armor Class, Bonus: Spell Attacks, Bonus: Magic, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard, Teleportation, Damage, Control, Buff, Combat, Warding
