On rare occasions, the Morning Lord, Lathander, will bless or create a weapon for his worshippers, who are in the midst of an important quest against the forces of darkness, as a means of aiding their efforts. In this case, Lathander has created a "+1 Arm Harpoon Gun" to be incorporated into the right arm of any Warforge, who is among his worshippers as well as worthy of the gift. It can only be given to a Warforge. The Gun is hidden within the Warforge's right arm. As a Bonus Action, they can activate the Gun (they point their arm at a target, and their hand folds backwards against their fore arm, exposing the Gun's barrel). The actions to use it are identical to that of a Hand Crossbow. However, it requires no ammunition; firing bolts of light instead. Base damage is a d6+1 piercing.
While activated, the Warforge will not be able to use their right hand, which will make it difficult to carry out certain actions that require both of their hands - GM's discretion. Another Bonus Action is needed to deactivate the Gun, which will restore their ability to use their right hand.
The Warforge will have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Additionally, against Undead or Shadow based creatures, the Gun's bolts of light do an extra 3d8 Radiant Damage. If fired while in the Shadowfell, this extra damage is doubled.
Proficiency with a Hand Crossbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Vex. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to the creature, you have Advantage on your next attack roll against that creature before the end of your next turn.
