Appearance
A crystalline shard shaped like a perfect teardrop of translucent ice, eternally cold to the touch. Even in warm climates, frost clings to it. When held, faint whispers of the wind echo through the air, and the bearer’s reflection in the ice seems just slightly delayed — as though time itself freezes for a heartbeat.
Lore
Forged from the grief of the Frostmaiden herself, this tear was shed when Auril’s dominion first began to wane under Vecna’s shadow. It carries within it a fragment of her divine essence — the last trace of true winter, stolen and twisted in the Frostvein Catacombs.
While tainted by necrotic influence, the tear still remembers what it was meant to be: a symbol of stillness, endurance, and the beauty of frozen silence.

As a reaction when you would take cold damage, you may absorb up to 20 points of that damage instead.
When this happens, the tear shatters into mist — only to reform on your person the following dawn, colder and slightly darker in hue.
