Weapon (halberd), rare (requires attunement by a by a Warlock, particularly one bound by Pact of the Blade)

The halberd now shimmers with a permanent mirrored sheen, as if the weapon's surface reflects not the world around it, but countless versions of reality layered atop one another. The edge glows faintly when drawn, and the wielder's reflection always seems to move a fraction of a second ahead - a disorienting yet strangely empowering sight. When striking or casting magic through the weapon, small motes of silver light drift from the blade like fragments of shattered glass.

This halberd has fully awakened to the duality of its creation - two souls bound as one, wielding a single purpose. The Reforged Soul now resonates with both the will of its master and the whisper of its mirrored self, forming a perfect (if uneasy) unity. Planar scholars say that in this state, the halberd no longer merely cuts - it divides realities, slicing the reflection from the thing itself.

+2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon

Echo strike: Once per turn, when you hit a creature with this weapon, you may choose to deal an additional 1d6 force damage as your reflection's strike echoes behind yours. (This replaces the 1d4 from the uncommon version).

Mirror Pulse (1/Short or Long Rest): As a bonus action, you can call upon your mirrored essence to act in tandem with you for one minute. During this time:

  • You gain advantage on one attack roll per turn

Twin Will (1/Long Rest): When you fail a saving throw, you may reroll it as your reflection's willpower reinforces yours. You must take the new roll, even if it's lower.

Proficiency with a Halberd allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Cleave. If you hit a creature with a melee attack roll using this weapon, you can make a melee attack roll with the weapon against a second creature within 5 feet of the first that is also within your reach. On a hit, the second creature takes the weapon’s damage, but don’t add your ability modifier to that damage unless that modifier is negative. You can make this extra attack only once per turn.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Melee Weapon Attacks, by a Warlock, particularly one bound by Pact of the Blade, Heavy, Reach, Two-Handed, Cleave
