These ultralight arcane gauntlets are formed of enchanted, sentient metal that sits on your hands like a second skin and can be shaped into any appearance you wish (no action required for appearance change). They can transform into a variety of tools; as an action, you can make a simple movement or gesture of your choice (clenching a fist, for example, or snapping your fingers...use your imagination, be descriptive and creative!) to transform the gauntlets into any type of artisan's tool of your choice (see the "Equipment" chapter in the Player's Handbook for a list of artisan's tools). Whatever form the tool takes, you have expertise with it (so, roll your skill check as normal, and then add twice your proficiency bonus to the roll). You can also use these gauntlets as a spellcasting focus for your artificer spells.
While attuned to these gloves:
- You gain a +3 bonus to the spell attack rolls and the saving throw DCs of your spells.
- You gain a +2 bonus to your armor class.
- You know the Eldritch Blast cantrip, but your version is flavored as if it's a series of bursts of concentrated energy from the gauntlets, rather than a malevolent spell bestowed by a patron.
- You have advantage on Initiative Rolls (on which you also gain a bonus of +3) and you cannot be surprised while wearing the gauntlets, even if you're asleep. The gauntlets warn you of impending danger.
Notes: Bonus: Spell Save DC, Bonus: Spell Attacks, Advantage: Initiative, Bonus: Armor Class, Bonus: Initiative, Artificer, Focus
