This trinket contains the essence of undead Shadows. Place it on a slashing weapon to gain its benefits as a magic action.
Upon hitting a creature with a slashing weapon that the amulet is attached to, the creature takes an additional d4 necrotic damage, and its strength decreased by d2. Humanoids brought to 0 strength are merely unconscious. Stable creatures regain d4 strength points per long rest or per greater restoration received (or like powerful magic).
You gain darkvision 60' or +20' if you already have darkvision.
Add the darkness spell to your spell list. It can be cast 1/long rest as a bonus action without a spell slot or concentration by the amulet. Alternatively you can cast the spell from the amulet as an emanation centered on you instead of on a point. You can see normally within THIS darkness spell CAST by the amulet.
Shadows hit by a weapon powered by the amulet must make a charisma save dc 15 or be drawn in trapped by the amulet. The amulet starts with 1 shadow trapped within. It can hold a maximum of 10 shadows.
As an action you may hurl the amulet up to 20' and speak a command word releasing all shadows within. They are hostile to you and have advantage to attack you.
