Weapon (greatsword), uncommon
"The Last Judgment"
This enormous blade is a masterwork of design, far more elegant than a standard greatsword. The blade is forged from a dark, smooth metal that seems to absorb ambient light. Along its length, the names of all who have ever died before their time are said to be inscribed in tiny, faint script. The crossguard is crafted to resemble a perfectly balanced set of golden scales, with an upright skeletal arm, Kelemvor's symbol, forming the hilt and pommel. The grip is wrapped in the dark leather of a panther.
When drawn in the presence of undead or creatures of significant necromantic energy, the blade does not glow with typical light. Instead, it emanates a brilliant, searing white radiance that burns with the absolute finality of true death. This light is unnerving to all but the most resolute wielder, and it sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet.
Key Abilities:
  • Radiant Wrath: The greatsword deals an additional 2d8 radiant damage on a hit against any creature. This damage is magnified against the undead, who take an extra 1d8 radiant damage (total 3d8 extra radiant damage).
  • The Judge's Will: Any creature slain by this weapon has its soul immediately delivered to Kelemvor's City of Judgment, preventing any form of animation or resurrection short of a Wish spell or direct divine intervention.
  • Kelemvor's Insight: The wielder of this blade can sense the true nature of a soul. As an action, they can determine if a seemingly living creature is, in fact, undead or possessed by a spirit.
  • Weight of Justice: The weapon is heavy (requiring two hands to wield), but perfectly balanced, reflecting Kelemvor's lawful neutral alignment.

Proficiency with a Greatsword allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Graze. If your attack roll with this weapon misses a creature, you can deal damage to that creature equal to the ability modifier you used to make the attack roll. This damage is the same type dealt by the weapon, and the damage can be increased only by increasing the ability modifier.
