Staff, artifact (requires attunement by a spell caster)

 This wand has the main eye of a beholder as its center piece and three eye stocks of a beholder. The wand holds 4 charges and regains 1d4 charges back daily at dawn. You may expend one or more charges as an action to do one of the following effects.

  • 1 charge: Paralyzing Ray: DC 15 vs targets Constitution saving throw, on a failure the target becomes paralyzed until they succeed the check, and may use their turn to try and succeed on the check, or until lesser or greater restoration is used on them.
  • 2 Charges: Petrification Ray: DC 15 vs targets Dexterity saving throw, on a failure the target becomes petrified, and may use their turn to try and shrug off the effect, or until greater restoration is used on them.
  • 3 charges: Disintegration Ray: DC 15 vs targets Dexterity saving throw, on a failure target takes 10d8 force damage, on a success take half as much damage.
  • 4 charges: Eye of the Beholder: On your turn use your action to speak the command word and aim the center eye of the wand, any creature caught in its 20 foot cone can no longer cast spells, all magic items deactivate, and any effect on the creature that is magical in nature goes away, until the creature leaves the cone. The cone of anti-magic lasts for 3 rounds.
  • 1 major random beneficial properties
  • 2 minor random detrimental properties
