Athame of Twilight (Shortsword)

The Athame ripens into a twilight-forged relic. Its bone-white blade now striates with veins of obsidian rot and silver bloom, pulsing faintly like a heartbeat. Ivy braids itself tighter along the hilt, whispering not in two voices now, but in one converged harmony—a verdict sung in dusk’s chorus.

When drawn, the twilight flash of the blade briefly silhouettes a spectral Court behind the witch: petals and decay circling in ritual orbit.

• Living Weapon:  Functions as a +2 shortsword. As a bonus action, you may shift its form into a +2 Glaive without the heavy property. You may use your Intelligence modifier instead of Dexterity or Strength for attack and damage rolls. While attuned to this relic, you gain proficiency and mastery with it regardless of its form. 
• Dual Aspect: On each strike, you may choose to deal radiant (Bloom) or necrotic (Rot) damage instead of the weapon’s normal damage.

• Thornbite: Once per turn, when you hit a foe under a condition (poisoned, restrained, charmed, or frightened), the attack deals an extra 2d4 damage.
