Athame of The Dual Edge (Shortsword)

The blade drinks deeper of the witch’s thoughts. The ivy coils no longer tremble — they respond. Bloom and Rot flicker in clearer cadence, and the whispers sharpen into two distinct tones: mercy urging restraint, judgment urging the final cut.

• Living Weapon:  Functions as a +1 shortsword. As a bonus action, you may shift its form into a +1 Glaive without the heavy property. You may use your Intelligence modifier instead of Dexterity or Strength for attack and damage rolls. While attuned to this relic, you gain proficiency and mastery with it regardless of its form.
• Dual Aspect: On each strike, you can choose to deal radiant (Bloom) or necrotic (Rot) damage instead of the weapons normal damage.
• Thornbite: Once per turn, when you hit a foe under a condition (poisoned, restrained, charmed, or frightened), the attack deals an extra 1d4 damage.

“I hear them now, always watching, always waiting for a verdict.”
“Don’t fool yourself — the Court doesn’t cheer, it judges.”
Yes, yes! The Court’s chorus carries in its edge. Speak, and it cuts in chorus with you.
