ʻAhiʻula Paʻa

The ʻAhiʻula Paʻa is a ceremonial set of armor worn by Wyvern Priests by the Ka Lāhui o Ke Kai (Luhai-Kai) Nā Hoʻolohe Wahine (Goddess Followers). It is believed to protect its wearers from all forms of injury and harm. It is a set of dried dragon hide pulled and formed over existing armor to get its shape. The protective "Armor" called the inner layer consists of: boots, chest plate and gauntlets. While the "Dress" or outer layer consists of the: gloves, hat, mask and overcoat.

The look of the armor is that of overlapping leather layers. The overcoat screeches down to the ankles with a slit in the lower back to separate the legs, and along the spine are infant dragon spines to match the user and hold the form of the coat. The gloves are dragon hide like the rest, but they are reinforced on the back of the hands and fingers (as well as the knuckles) with dragon bone. The mask is circular in shape but comes to a point near the bottom of the face, its eye holes are a set of perfect circles. The hat has a high circular crown with a wide stiff brim. 

 

The AC of this armor set is 18

Wearing this armor allows the user to cast level 4 fireball four times per long rest

Wearing this grants immunity to fire

Wearing this gives the user vulnerability to cold

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.

Notes: Set: Armor Class, Immunity: Fire, Vulnerability: Cold, A paladin or cleric must expose their darkest secret to the armor. After an hour they will be attuned to it, should the secret be "Satisfactory", Footwear, Wristwear, Headwear, Outerwear, Eyewear, Handwear, Str. 15 Required, Stealth Disadvantage
