While wearing this necklace, you can cast the Speak with Animals spell and the Animal Friendship spell (save DC 15), at their base levels, at will. 

When casting Speak with Animals from this necklace, there is a 1% chance of the caster's mental ability scores being replaced by the statistics of a cat. The caster retains their alignment and personality. This effect lasts for the duration of the spell.

When casting Animal Friendship from this necklace, the caster can force the spell to succeed, regardless of the beast's intelligence, if the beast's CR is 1 or less. When using this trait, there is a 10% chance of the caster's mental ability scores being replaced by the statistics of the form of the targeted beast. There is also a 5% chance of the caster to Polymorph into the form of the targeted beast. In either case, the caster retains their alignment and personality, and the effects last for one hour. If the caster is fey, the chances for these effects decrease to 5% and 1%, respectively.
