A bow made with the ashes of Raloran Kivarn, former General of the Hessonian Royal Army and champion of the black dragon Abeloth. The bow hums gently with magical energy as faint glowing cracks of red and blue appear and move across the bow.
You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Each attack also adds an extra 1d4 of fire or cold damage.
Defensive Stance - The first time you attack with the bow on each of your turns, you can transfer some or all of the bow's bonus to your Armor Class, instead of using the bonus on any attacks that turn. For example, you could reduce the bonus to your attack and damage rolls to +0 and gain +1 to AC. The adjusted bonuses remain in effect until the start of your next turn, although you must hold the bow to gain a bonus to AC from it.
Commune - A DC 18 wisdom check will allow you to momentarily speak with the spirit of General Kivarn. Communing with the spirit may provide strategic information or possible boons depending on the situation.
Proficiency with a Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
Notes: Damage: Fire, a person that shared a bond with Raloran Kivarn, Damage, Combat, Bane, Ammunition, Heavy, Range, Two-Handed, Slow
