Weapon (mace), rare

Magic Bonus. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic mace.

Returning. The mace as the Thrown property with a range of 20/60 feet. After it hits or misses a creature, it returns to your hand.

Counter Spell. When a creature within 60 feet of you casts a spell with Verbal, Somatic, or Material components, you can use a Reaction to attempt to interrupt their casting. Make an attack roll using the mace on the creature. On a hit, roll damage for the mace and the target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the spell dissipates with no effect, and the action, Bonus Action, or Reaction used to cast it is wasted. If that spell was cast with a spell slot, the slot isn’t expended. Once you have made this Reaction, you cannot do so again until you have finished a Short or Long rest.

I cast Mace to the face!

Proficiency with a Mace allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.

This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.

Sap. If you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature has Disadvantage on its next attack roll before the start of your next turn.
