This pair of acrobat's ribbons are fueled by the inherent performative magic of the bards. While attuned to both of these +1 whips, you gain the following benefits:
- The pair count for only 1 attunement slot.
- Both weapons are considered light for the purpose of dual wielding.
- You are proficient with whips.
- Any creature that rolls one of your bardic inspiration dice given to them while you are holding these whips gains a +2 bonus to that roll.
Furthermore, you can perform various sets using a pair of acrobat's ribbons. As an action, choose one of the following sets, if it requires a saving throw, the DC is your spell save DC.
Ensnaring Ribbons. Choose a target within reach, which must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be grappled and restrained by you. It can use an action on each of its turns to escape. You cannot make attacks with either whip while a creature is ensnared in this way.
Enrapturing Dance. You perform an entrancing display of ribbon acrobatics. Enemy creatures within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be charmed by you until the start of your next turn.
Enveloping Whirl. You twirl your ribbons about you in a tight display of whirling fabric. Until the end of your next turn, you are considered to be lightly obscured.
Proficiency with a Whip allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.
This weapon has the following mastery property. To use this property, you must have a feature that lets you use it.
Slow. If you hit a creature with this weapon and deal damage to it, you can reduce its Speed by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. If the creature is hit more than once by weapons that have this property, the Speed reduction doesn’t exceed 10 feet.
